Excavators, homeowners, and facility operators can use the Gopher State One Call (GSOC) app to easily and quickly manage locate requests. Anyone planning to excavate in Minnesota can use the app to initiate, manage and monitor a locate request prior to excavation. Facility operators can use the ticket management feature to provide a positive response to excavators.

Use the app to:

• Submit Locate Requests. Log in to ISITE for access to all of GSOC’s online tools such as IMAP, Locator Ticket Management, and ITIC.
• View the positive response history and an on-line worksite map through Ticket Search.
• Find and view previously submitted tickets with Ticket Search.
• Access a Resource Center with links to the GSOC handbook, excavator guide, color codes and instructional videos. View and share these items with the click of a button.
• Get the latest News and Events announcements from GSOC.

2017 Day of the Dozers

Save the date for the fifth-annual Day of the Dozers on September 30^th, 2017! This unique family-friendly event was created to raise money for the Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota. As the main attraction, children get to sit in the cabs of giant bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks, and skid steers and run the equipment with a licensed operator. A large culvert maze, variety of games, safety demos, prize giveaways, equipment simulators, and food round out the event. This year will include more equipment, gate entries, vendors, and activities than ever before! Attendees can also purchase a $1 raffle ticket for a chance to win construction toys. Gopher State One Call (GSOC), a Minnesota Common Ground Alliance (MNCGA) participant, is proud to be a key sponsor of this year’s event.

GSOC at the MN State Fair

Planning to visit the “Great Minnesota Get-Together” this year? While you are at the State Fair, stop by and visit the Gopher State One Call (GSOC) booth! We will be spreading the damage prevention message to fair-goers and distributing our wildly popular GSOC yardsticks, along with other GSOC promotional items. Spin our wheel and land on an APWA color-coded utility to determine the color of the yardstick you’ll receive! You can find us in the Blue Flame Gas Association building on the west side of Nelson Street, between Dan Patch and Carnes Avenues (across from the Giant Slide) from August 24th-September 4th, 2017.

The 811 Run Returns to MN

To celebrate 811 Day, the 811 Run is returning to Minnesota! The event promotes the “Call or Click Before You Dig” message, and all proceeds go to Twin Cities Firefighters Operation Warm, an organization that provides winter coats to children in need. Gopher State One Call (GSOC) is a proud sponsor of this family-friendly event that will feature a free kid’s “fun run”, an awards ceremony, a prize giveaway, and a safety fair following the 5K run. Come visit the GSOC booth to learn more about the damage prevention message and the important steps that you should take to excavate safely.
